V0.3 Notes


Fixes and updates:

  • Basic town system
  • Characters how have different starting HP based on their class.
  • Characters have different attack ranges for their standard attacks now.
  • Persistent party roster  
    • Characters die, so's the life of an Adventurer
    • You can now recruit a Red Shirt for 50gp.
      • For Testing, you can select a specific class for them.
  • Raycast fog reveal
    • I think this slows down performance too much.
    • I'll probably have to rework that, maybe even just go with a light system in the end.
  • Orcs now have slight variations, some that are stronger and some very squishy.

Bugs:

  • Forced Attacks when target is within attack range cause the character to attack properly.
    • If you issue and attack outside that range, or the auto attack triggers, the character rushes into Melee.
    • Wizards aren't meant for hand to hand. 

Planned for next version:

  • Minimap is on my list to make, but I'm thinking about how I want the player to interact with it.  Especially as the dungeons will scale larger as you challenge higher difficulty ones.
  • Click and drag and hotkey jump back to the party is next on my list, but I haven't had much time today to work on it.
  • Leveling is also no working yet, just XP accumulation at this point.
    • Powers assigned based on Level
