V0.3 Notes
Dungeon Fodder (Prototype) » Devlog
Fixes and updates:
- Basic town system
- Characters how have different starting HP based on their class.
- Characters have different attack ranges for their standard attacks now.
- Persistent party roster
- Characters die, so's the life of an Adventurer
- You can now recruit a Red Shirt for 50gp.
- For Testing, you can select a specific class for them.
- Raycast fog reveal
- I think this slows down performance too much.
- I'll probably have to rework that, maybe even just go with a light system in the end.
- Orcs now have slight variations, some that are stronger and some very squishy.
Bugs:
- Forced Attacks when target is within attack range cause the character to attack properly.
- If you issue and attack outside that range, or the auto attack triggers, the character rushes into Melee.
- Wizards aren't meant for hand to hand.
Planned for next version:
- Minimap is on my list to make, but I'm thinking about how I want the player to interact with it. Especially as the dungeons will scale larger as you challenge higher difficulty ones.
- Click and drag and hotkey jump back to the party is next on my list, but I haven't had much time today to work on it.
- Leveling is also no working yet, just XP accumulation at this point.
- Powers assigned based on Level
